A live site I developed is hosted by GoDaddy.
I have had the Canada Post quoting system developed and it works on an open system, but on the GoDaddy servers, it simply kaffs out, seemingly unable to make a connection.
The exceptions report time outs and I can't seem to find any way of telling the module to use a proxy, or the application to request a specific out-port.
I have successfully tested some stand alone scripts that can communicate fine from the GoDaddy Host with Canada Post. I can post the scripts here if anyone would like them for their own usage (for free no less).
However, the modules, and DNN itself refuse to make outside connection.
In other news, Trauger's BackItUp unfortunately didn't do the trick in GoDaddy. It returned a quick error, spilled my drink, slapped me in the nuts, spat in my face and took off with my wife. Surprising for such a small app. Thanks for all the fish, as they say.
