I have a problem using a javascript under DNN5 that functions on other versions I have running.

The script at the bottom (removed all but the key lines of code) displays a random image each time a page loads.  In the past the hard coded URL was left alone but now the editor is inserting the portal path any time it sees "src" in the code.  This is resulting in duplicate insertions and an invalid URL for the image.

I can't seem to find an option to turn off or override this "feature".  Any ideas?

Code as written:

randpic[1].src="gallery/image01.jpg"
randpic[2].src="gallery/image02.jpg"
etc..

randomp += '<img src="' + image.src + '" WIDTH=250 HEIGHT=275 border="0"</A>'

Code module saves:

randpic[1].src="/Portals/5/gallery/image01.jpg"
randpic[2].src="/Portals/5/gallery/image02.jpg"

randomp += '<img src="/Portals/5/' + image.src + '" WIDTH=250 HEIGHT=275 border="0"</A>'

Desired URL:

http://domain.com/portals5/gallery/imagexx.jpg

Resulting URL:

http://domain.com/portals/5/portals/5...

I am not sure you can turn this off, nor would you want to in some cases.

What you could do is put this in the header/footer of the module, rather than the HTML body.

I also had this issue as well, and could find no way to turn it off!

What I did was to get around it was to split the scr string, .e.g. 'sc' +'r' and all worked fine e.g.

document.write(unescape('%3C') + 'script sr' + 'c="'
