I have cleaned up the search tables and also checked mine against the Text/HTML modules ISearchable implementation as well. But still the behaviour is the same. The method is as follows;

public SearchItemInfoCollection GetSearchItems(ModuleInfo ModInfo)
{
List<NewsInfo> searchNews = GetRecentNews(100);
SearchItemInfoCollection searchNewsCollection = new SearchItemInfoCollection();
foreach (var news in searchNews)
{
SearchItemInfo newsItem = new SearchItemInfo(news.Title,news.Description, 1, DateTime.Now, ModInfo.ModuleID, "", news.newsContent, "", Null.NullIteger);
searchNewsCollection.Add(newsItem);
}

return searchNewsCollection;
}

Can you guys see any potential flaws in this?

Are any of the modules on the site, such as the HTML module, getting indexed?

Yes Chris, the Text/HTML module does get indexed. Also when I execute 'GetSearchModules' I could see both Text/HTML and my custom module as well.

The only thing I can see different from the searching I've setup for previous modules is the fact that you aren't passing in a Searchkey or GUID when you create the searchitem.

Might be worth a shot to populate those fields to test it out, even if you just use an incrementing number or something.
