Is there anyway i can generate a URL with xml output of data that is in my DNN database?

I want to do what the syndicate does but the syndicate truncates description to 100 characters.

the XML module amost does it. using the settings page you can view the "Xml Source" in a textbox but not a URL.

Any ideas?

Carlos,

I would suggest you revise the XML module source to your needs and create your own version of the XML module.  If you are new to developing DNN modules, then is would be a simple way to learn what is needed.  Expecially if the module does almost everything you want.

In fact, this is exactly how I started.. took the XML module, and tweaked it and created XMLdb.   Since was many years ago, but the XML module is rather straight forward, and should be a good place to start.
