I have migrated to DNN 5.4.2 and I am trying to switch to the Telerik editor.

But when I am trying to access to the DNN page that uses the editor (using IE8), I am getting the "'Telerik' is undefined" error. But using Firefox it works...

It happens when the RegisterDialogs.js is executed.

I have checked using fiddler and firebug and in both cases the "Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.RadEditor.js" (where the Telerik.Web.UI.Editor namespace is defined) is downloaded (using the ScriptResource.axd).

But in the IE it is downloaded after the "'Telerik' is undefined" error, so the RegisterDialogs.js is running before... How could I solve this problem?

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Jorge

Is it by chance a caching issue with IE? What if you try clearing the browser's cache and then loading the page?

No, I have deleted all the cache, and it is still happening.

I could see that you are registering the RegisterDialogs.js inside the editor provider's div (control scripts are down on the page).

Could it be the cause of the problem?

Thanks

I found this error only in pages with the following instruction: scriptManager.LoadScriptsBeforeUI = false

In those cases the RegisterDialogs.js is running before the control's scripts.
