Users on websites I manage do not yet use the forum module because they have no idea of how it works or how it can help them. There are no popular forums in Khmer, and English is for most of our users beyond their comprehension on a professional or academic level. Thus, I have no idea of how easily forums can start giving errors.

I remember a while ago, this very dnn forum in which I am now posting gave plenty of errors. Then, someone must have corrected the errors, and this forum behaved well again.

This week, I wanted to read a post in the language and regionalization forum and I met the old errors again. I am referring to this post:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.asp...

This makes me wonder: if the usage of my hosted forums grows, are such errors likely, and if they occur, how difficult is it to re-index them or whatever it is you have to do to make them work without errors.

According to DNN Corp., issues with the Forums module are specific to this web site. I cannot confirm, all my clients already switched to Active Forums (www.activemodules.com), which is very stable.
