Hi All,
Using DNN Pro 5.1.4. I have been asked if there is a way to set default expiry dates (1 week, 1 month etc) from post date of Annoucements. We have several annoucement modules for various items and each has a different life cycle. We want to better control the expiry instead of leaving it up to the web authors group to remember which is which.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks K

There isn't a way exposed in the module right now that would allow you to do this per announcement.  However, it would be pretty easy to add such a feature as a setting to the module if you're willing to do a little bit of development.  If you do, I would suggest submitting your updates to the Announcements module project team.

Otherwise, have you tried playing with the "History" setting of the module?  It will automatically expire all announcements within a specified date range.
