I've setup a HTML module, checked "Allow Syndicate ", "Display Containers"... but the RSS Icon does not appear on the module. Syndicate does appear on the module's menu, along w/ Settings, View Source, Edit Content, etc.... that's fine for the site admin.

How does the user get the RSS URL?

This is on DNN 5.5

if the icon is not included in the container you use, you may only get url for RSS feed from the module action menu. For details, please see the skinning guide (Resources > Documentation > downloadable files in menu above)
