Wit create I think you try to develope a module.  So if I understand you correct now you try to install a module (extension) to your dnn instance.  This has doing with the Extention installer hou found in host.  If this not work you have a issue on your permission setting of the DNN files and folders in it.  Note the Application Pool User must have full grandet permissions to all DNN files and folders in it!

CXreate a new module is for developing a new module and needs via Visual Studio greates files on its new project.

Hi

I'm not sure i understand you, but I'm using cassini for localhost and IIS in another environment. I can't see the content of the "create module" modulein neither of them.
So with Cassini I have to trust I have no permission issues. Nor application domain issues. I just want to be able to import a dnn manifest.
