I am running DNN 5.02.2. I have a custom Desktop module that calls a web service that is located on a separate IIS site. I can run the InventorySearch.asmx from the site and it works fine. When I run it from the DNN site I don't see my changes I made in the code files for the web service. How do I get DNN to run the updated web service code?

If you have a custom module and you changed the web service signature, you will need to update your web reference and re-deploy/install your module once you have it updated.

Thanks for the reply.  Can you point me to any documentation on how to update the web reference and how to install/re-deploy the module.

I noticed that the .wsdl file for the web service does not have the new fields I added in it.  Is this file used by DNN?

.wsdl is the description of your webservice and get used by the consumer. It needs to be regenerated after you modified the interface.
