Hey guys , I am new to DNN and I keep falling into problems and I dont know what I am doing wrong.
My website was running perfectly until I changed the http alias and had reset the application.
Every time I try to edit content of a module or get into its settings I get the following message.

does this happen to any module? Which 3rd party modules did you install? Which SQL Server version are you running?

Yes, all the modules that I have tried editing result in the error.Third party modules are the Effority Ealo "collection" (Localized with ArtisteerFish), Expandable HTML.
The SQL Server is Microsoft SQL Server Web Edition (64-bit) version 10.0.1600.22. (I am not sure if that is what you asked me for).

Do you also get this error when trying to use any of the administrative functions such as Admin-->Site Settings?

Are you using a third-party or custom skin or menu/navigation provider?

If using a third-party or custom skin, do you still get this error if you change the site's or page's edit skin back to the default edit skin?
