Hi guys! I need to find a module that allows to insert a microsoft word file for showing it complete with text and pictures. Actually I use the text module and I insert the images later, but I'd like to just upload the file and than insert it into the module.
I have seen that there is an XML module and I've converted a word document to a XML file but the module doesn't show it.
Do u know if there is a module that allows u to do that?
Free is better, but also a shareware module is ok.
Thank you!

Ste,

If possible, I would consider converting the document to PDF .. Word 2007 and above support export to PDF.  This works well and is a "known" solution.    Personally, I place the reference to the PDF document in an IFrame module.  Works well.

Other than that .. see about downloading the Word Viewer (here)

Hope this helps
Paul.

Thank you this seems to be a very easy solution to my problem.
Do you know if it's possible to remove the tool bar of the pdf reader as it was a text module? The page would look less confusing...
Thank you!

I have tryed it with the ubuntu OS, but I cannot see the pdf because the browser ask me to download the file. Perhaps the pdf reader doesn't have the function that allows you to see a document in a module...
Do u know any solutions?
Thank you!
