Hello all,

I have not found a thread about this (not to say I missed or did a wrong search) but here are the details:

Using the Telerik Editor in the HTML module, I create a table OR copy/paste HTML (in source view) of tables and the Telerik Editor adds hardcoded style to the table:

style="width:0px; text-align:center;"

I try to correct the table properties by going through the table editor in Telerik AND removing it from the source (different attempts)... and it STILL applies the hardcoded style above as if I didn't do anything. Is there a bug in the Telerik Provider? Or is it one of the config settings?

I have the following config filters on the Telerik Provider:
<property name="ContentFilters">
EncodeScripts, FixUlBoldItalic, FixEnclosingP, IECleanAnchors, MozEmStrong, ConvertFontToSpan, OptimizeSpans, ConvertToXhtml, PdfExportFilter, IndentHTMLContent
</property>

DNN Version: Community 5.5.1
Telerik Editor Provider: 5.4.2
DNN Telerik Web Components: 5.5.0
HTML Module: 5.4.3

Any ideas? This is beyond annoying. The only workaround is to go to the "Basic Text Box" route and paste the HTML. I would prefer to keep the Telerik Editor capabilities for my other admin users (that would love to find something to complain about this great CMS).

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike,
Saw this old post when looking for an answer, so thought I would offer up the cause - when the Content Filer PdfExportFilter is enabled, table widths will default to 0px for some odd reason. I see this behavior in v6.1.2 and the DNN RadEditor provider. Figuring out why is for another day!

HTH,
Eric

I kept getting strange output from Telerik editor all the time, its not even surprising anymore and even now I'm struggling with this worst editor of all times on forums ZzZZzz. I moved to CKEditor and it's so much cooler in every way ...

I had always hoped that the DNN core would support CK Editor.  It does seem better than the RadEditor... but I'd guess there's some sort of deal with Telerik.
