Hi all,

I am working with a DNN website. We want to integrate a server application to make use of the users and their statusses as registered in the DNN portal. Can I use the DNN Membership Provider and the DNN Role Provider as-is in our server application? We want to consolidate two databases, each with their own user registrations. A tutorial or a reference would be great.

Cheers.

DNN is using MS Membership provider, but for accessing profile data and roles, you will need to use your own code (or copy code from DNN providers)

Hi,

I'll try locating the Membership and Role Providers thru the DNN sources.

For the RoleProvider, is there a certain DLL that I can import pr dp I have to copy the source code to my own solution?
