We have a portal where the site logging has been working fine for at least a month but has suddenly stopped 2 days ago. The Site Log History setting is still set and the other portals are still recording to the site log. I've tried setting the Site Log history to 0 and leaving for a while before changing it back. I've also tried setting the site Log Buffer to 0 in an attempt to kick start it, but it still will not work. I've checked the HostSettings table against other portal which are working and all seems OK. I've checked the sql table and they do not exist. I can't think of any other setting that may effect it.

The site is a locally hosted intranet and has approximately 100 portals.

Any ideas

DId you check the site log history setting on the Portal itself? Or just on the HostSettings? The host setting is for NEW portals, each individual portal has their own setting that is available (to super users) on the Portal's Site Settings

Thank you for the reply but, yes, I've checked the local site settings. I've also tried changing the value in the vain hope it may kick start it back. As far as I can work out this is the only setting that is related to the portal logging. The site logging used to work OK but just seems to have stopped. I could find nothing in the event log that might give a clue as to what may have caused it to stop either. So I'm at a bit of a dead end. I think I may have to create another portal and migrate the pages but it could just end up doing it again, so I would like to find out what caused it.
