Hello,

I've been searching around and seem to be having troubles finding what I'm looking for, or anything close for that matter.

Downloads Module that can be restricted to registered members only.

Blog/News Article Module
-- Members can submit an article, will need to be approved by "admin" before being published publicly.
-- Members whom are in a group publish articles publicly.

ShoutBox Module, preferably one that's javascript driven.

Do we have something similar to these modules with DotNetNuke? If so, could you kindly point me in that direction? Thanks.

This looks similar to what I'm looking for, but the asking price is far more than I care to spend on my hobby site, lol.

Downloads module - why you do not use Core Links module? Its perfect for this task and allows to setup permissions for any role you like. Also has statistics about downloads.

ShourBox - you can try Btb Shoutbox the module, but there were no updates from them for a long time. But at least you can try.

Also a lot of modules with approval at Snowcovered.

Thank you for the links and your reply.

My website is 100% non profit, no ad's, no financial revenue, no donations, nothing, it's merely a hobby site of mine. Thus, it's not realistic to spend money on modules.

I appreciate the work of the coders (I'm one myself), but it's kind of disappointing to see most every module and skin come with a price tag.
