Thank all for your replies. They helped a lot.

I have another question about the navigation.

I have been learning how to use DNN and noticed that the custom web application that the developers made is basically a module on one of the pages. The custom application has its own navigation in it.

My question then is, can the DNN skin navigation be connected to the navigation in the custom web application navigation?

I asked the developer about this because this site is a web application. If they don't connect together then there will only be 1 button on the upper nav bar which would look silly. I didn't get a straight answer from the developer.

I do need a sales portion of the website but I don't want it mixed up with the web application of the site.

If the 2 navigations bars can't be connected then is there some way of removing the DNN navigation bar from the page that has the web application on it but still retain the logo and sign-in portion at the top?

Thanks,

Craig

There are a couple of different ways that this can be achieved.

But they do depend on how the "custom web application" has been designed\ - and more specifically how they are controlling the navigation inside the application.

If they are internally handling navigation using query string passing - then you could create linking pages in the dnn menu that pass the appropriate query strings to the module page using a redirector.
