I'm looking for best-practices from DNN veterans that have experience working with video galleries... what's the best format for streaming videos, best resolution for crisp full screen resolution (without being so big that it takes forever to load the video), are there any highly recommended video player modules? I have a gallery on my site, but am not happy with the load times, large file sizes, etc. (Currently using Camtasia for video editing & production; DNN V4; Text/HTML modules with <object> tags to display .SWF files.)
Thanks a ton for any advice and/or examples that will help me see the light.
Cheers - John

The flash flv / fv4 format is the best web format for most circumstances.  Youtube has pretty much made it the defacto internet video standard.
The swf format is badly lacking in terms of streaming optimization and compression management.

If the HTML5 crew ever reach an agreement on a standardised video format to utilize then maybe the flv format will one day be replaced.  And as for working with dnn there are a number of flv player modules around that work very well.
