Is it possible to pass DNN 6 Tokens as @Parameters into a SQL query using the reports module?

If this is possible how would it be done?

Are there any guides or documentation as to the availabe Tokens within DNN 6?

Thanks for any help.

AFAIK this is not supported by the module.

Anyone know if there is an update to this issue? I am looking to do basically same thing. I'll explain what I need to do and maybe one of you nice people can point me in the right direction. We need customers to be able to log in and run reports about their inventory. The parameter would be the customer number. We can't have customers running reports on other customer's inventory. It would work out perfectly if we could set the customer number in the user profile (as a token I'm assuming)  and have it passed to the SQL query. We have about 300 customers that would need to run reports, so it would be impracticable to create a separate reports page for each user or role.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I have a similar requirement.

I have seen a demonstration of passing URL parameters to the Reports module from DNNCreative

The catch is always how to get the parameter in the first place

I am thinking of using DataSprings Dynamic forms and using hidden fields and having just a "submit" button that says "show me my records" this would then launch a page passing the Client ID / Customer ID as a parameter

I'll post my success or failure here :-)

Regards

Dave
