I have this exact error when I try to add  a post to a newly added forum module. This is the first use after installing forums 5.01 on DNN 5.6.2.

To get the install to work at all I have to modify several statements in the 4.05.00 sql data provider (several equal clauses had to be changed to IN clauses) , as has been posted elsewhere.

Given that the install doesn't work, and the tiny amount of hits google gives for the forum module, I wonder if it's being used by anyone except expeerts, whio fix errors like these as they arise?

Anyway, if anyone knows the answer for this specific problemj, I'd be grateful to hear it.

Regards
Steve

you can always get all forum releases at http://dnnforum.codeplex.com/releases/view/69204 . Please note, if you have errors with that module you should log them at http://dnnforum.codeplex.com/workitem/list/basic so that the forum team is aware of them.

I have posted the bug to that forum - thanks.

It's bad that the main page for the forum doesn't have the latest installs, and no obvious indication that one should check elsewhere for more recent releases.

I did a little check, and the script error exist in the installs for 5.01, 5.02 and 5.03 - stopped checking there, as 5.03 and above is for DNN 6.
