Hi, we are building a site where people buy a yearly membership to access an exclusive website. Can anyone recommend a module that is best for this? We want users to be able to purchase a membership, create a unique username and password, and be able to manage and adjust their account, and have access to the exclusive website. As well, there is going to be a shopping cart system for users to be able to purchase products only available to members, so it was suggested that the membership module has to use DNN profiles so that they can login once but still use the shopping cart (which tracks their orders, order history, etc, so they don't have to login twice).

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations of what would work best?

There are a few modules that fit your bill. The one I use most often is Ventrian's Subscription Tools. It's a very good tool at an even better price.

That said, DNN is going to release what was once call Active Purchase. This showed great promise when Active Modules was developing it, however, I believe that it will only be included in the Pro And Enterprise versions of DNN.
