hi,
I have an image and it links to a pdf file on my site. I've inserted the image in Text/HTML module and set the link by document manager.
when I click on the image, browser tries to open pdf file in new window.
Then I tried HouseLinks module, but the problem didn't fix.
What's te reason of this problem, I'm using dnn 5.6.3 and I had no problem in dnn 5.5.1 and dnn 5.3
thanks.

what do you expect to happen? Whether a link is opened in a window of your browser depends on browser and adobe reader settings. AFAIR Documents module always tries to download instead of opening files.

Thanks,
I want the link will download when clicked. in this condition I don't need any other module, I want HTML module create this link, because this download link is a part of text content.
I test this condition in same computer and same browser but in other version of DNN, the browser give me a message to download pdf file not trying to open it. Also I try other type of file, e.g xml file, there is no difference.
May be it depends to my html editor, I try dnnwrek.RadEditor, Telerik editor and FCK editor. There is no difference in this condition.
