I've been searching around for how to integrate AdSense into my site and getting a little confused. I'm guessing the reason for my confusion is that there have been some changes - I've been some references to a specific AdSense module (in earlier versions, perhaps?), others that refer to having to use the Banners module and so on. So...
  • Can someone tell me the state of play today with integrating AdSense into a DNN 6.0.1 site. What's the best way to do this (can someone confirm that there is no such things as the "AdSense module")?
  • Do I need to update a skin to ad AdSense? I am hoping I don't need to do this - would much prefer to just be able to add as a regular module wherever I like but I've seen some references to it only being possible via a skin.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

To answer my own questions, I found out how to do this via the followjng thread. I now have AdSense integrated (no need to update the skin as plenty of docs I have read have implied).

Seems strange to me that this (very common) functionality would previously be exposed as a specific AdSense module but then get "relegated" (well, no specific support for AdSense any more) into Vendors (?) and banners.
