Ok .. some Friday afternoon comic relief for you.

Installed DNN WebControls via install wizard HOST >> EXTENSIONS
using WebControls.install.v02.03.00.00.zip

Probably a mistake ... can library items be installed this way??

Anyhow clicked through the prompts et al and seemed happy ... and then page reloads started looping .. like every few seconds ... my bad

The public non-admin access is stable .. I tried to uninstall from the EXTENSIONS page but the reloads make for insanity.

It gets funnier .. new, virgin DNN instance .. no backup ..sigh .

So based on this scenario I would need an uninstall sql procedure I believe or some other manual intervention ... I have full control of the server .. (I can sense everyone shuddering and gasping at that thought)

Any hand holding  would be appreciated to reverse my turning of the wrenches..

What about performing an upgrade ?

for instance, currently using version 6 .. so to reinstate original configuration with regard to the DotNetNuke WebControl 2.2.2 which is what shipped .. would an upgrade of version 6 work to accomplish this?

Or is there another answer to the looping (reloading, refreshing) of the log in window..
