Maybe this is the best place to start this, maybe it's not. However, I have sent several requests to get info and speak with someone about purchasing Active Social and I have never gotten a response. I've tried using "Ask A Question" on Snowcovered, I've sent emails, and I've even tried using the www.activemodules.com website, but it hardly ever works, whenever I try to login, in always fails, whenever I click on the online help desk on active modules, it always fails.
Maybe I should be smart enough to see the signs, but like many, many faithful DNN users, I need a social media module that works and has some sort of decent history and/or responses. It is imperative that this decision is correct the first time as the amount of time and energy put into a customizing and managing a module like this is extraordinary and the future must be considered at all times. It's not something easily changed out like a contact form or image gallery.
Please, please can I get some sort of help or anyone's experience with the module. If you're using it, would you do it again, or choose another one, and if so which one?
If you have experience with another social media module, please advise as well. Thanks!

Hi Paul,
I don't blame you for being frustrated. There are a couple ways to ask questions about Active Social, but sounds like you aren't having much luck with any of them. I'm not really sure why you are encountering so many problems with the Active Modules website. I did find the question you asked on Snowcovered and I'll reply to that request shortly. After I reply you will be able to ask additional questions through the Snowcovered help desk.
Thanks,
Will

Did you ever receive the assistance you were seeking?  I'm considering using AS for a site I'm developing and I'm having a hard time finding any information on it as well.  I created an account on the demo site but never received the verification code via email, although I've attempted to send it several times.

AFAIK, Active Social is currently no longer sold, because it is about to be integrated into the DNN framework.
