I use DNN for our Corporate local Intranet.
Part of the information we need is hosted by another organisation (hosted with MS Sharepoint).

We need a search option which will search our (DNN) Intranet and the other (Sharepoint) site.
We can now search the other site (seperatly ) and it will return a RSS-feed with results.

Is it possible to enter a search-question once and get mixed results in return (results from our own site mixed with results from the RSS-feed)?

the Professional and enterprise versions of DotNetNuke both contain a search engine spider which can search any location (see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Professional-Edition.aspx for more details) - you could purchase/write your own alternatively (most people use lucene/solr for this type of thing)
