Hello all.

I am trying to use a PayPal generated "button".  If you are not familiar with this, PayPal has a feature that will generate html code based selections from the account owner.  This generated code contains descriptive text, dropdown lists and the form tag for a post back to the Paypal payment page.

It is the form tag that I having issues with.  The action attribute of the form tag contains the appropriate PayPal url, however, when the Pay Now button is clicked the page appears to only post back to itself.

As a temporary solution, I link to a branded page on my personal web site to look like the DNN portal and then post from there to PayPal.

Is there a DNN solution to this problem?

Thanks for your help.

David

Oops, I should have added this occurs in 4.9.4 in the HTLM module. In the 5.6.4 version, the editor will not allow the use of a form tag in an HTML module.

Thanks. again

I am having the same problem as you are David. We setup a paypal account for donations to our Church website and when we place the link it looks fine. But when you click on it, it just re-directs you to the page you are already on. We are using DNN 4.9.0.

I tried this link on a personal Joomla site and the link worked fine.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Thanks,
Jim

I've been experiencing this issue for about two months now. I originally ran into the problem with creating an html form.

Now setting up paypal it appears the problem presents itself once again.

Does anyone know a work around?

Also, I read somewhere that this was an issue with the 6.0(perhaps 6.01?) release. Is a fix still in the works?

I just upgraded to 6.1.3 to see if that did the trick, but it did not so I'm assuming the issue is getting put in 6.2 instead of a minor patch.
