using the HTML Editor Manager from the Host menu, I can remove toolbar icons and corresponding functionality by simply deleting toolbar items (after copying the default configuation), but after an image is added I can right click on the image, select properties, and there is the image editor all ready to access files.

I'd like to prevent users from access the server at all and instead have that same image dialog come up wtihout the browse button.  Is there a way to do this?

I want registered users to be able to use the image dialog to paste a full image URL in, but not allow server file access.  I don't want them to have to go into the html to add an image by coding image tags.

CKEditor (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com) provides you with full features to control access to images, documents, media and flash.

Yes, I found it on another thread yesterday and it ROCKS!  I've never seen a dnn-compatible html editor that is so damn complete and easy to use -- you can even design templates right in the options screen without messing around!  Thanks.
