Hello all.

I am working with PayPal Add to cart and View cart buttons with DNN 5.6.4 in an HTML module. I have been able to get a single PayPal item to post correctly.

However, with the Add to cart button I’ve run into a small issue.  It works when there is one item. I click Add to cart button and the PayPal page displays the item and quantity correctly.  However, when I add a second Add to cart item and click the first , the PayPal page shows that I’ve added the second item.  I’m using javascript to force the page to submit and I have verified the hosted_button_id value is correct.  I’ve placed each Add to cart item in a separate HTML module and have a different function name for each of the two onclick events.

The second issue is the View cart button.  It always submits another Add to cart quantity.  I want this button to only view the current cart items, not add to it.

Has anyone gotten PayPal Add to cart and View cart buttons to work.

Thanks.

David

Thanks for the post.  There was a good section on how direct PayPal to the correct page when the user clicks "Continue Shopping" after making a selection.

However, the rest of the article seems to be directed at web pages that are CMS based.  Since DNN uses a <form>, the use of an additional <form> tag for each button presents a problem.  That is why I have used the onclick event on the submit button to execute a Javascript method that performs the actual page posting.

So I do not find the solution to either of my two problems in it.
