Hi,  I am fairly new to DNN and am currently working on 2 sites.  For some reason, now I can not install ANY new extensions.  I see the following messsage:

If you have reached this page it is because the installer needs to gather some more information, before proceeding.

The only option is to cancel or click next, and the next button does nothing.  I have installed numerous extensions prior to now with no issue, and have recently upgraded to 6.1.5.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be causing this and how to repair?  Thanks in advance!

A few questions for you to answer, please:

1. From what version of DNN did you upgrade? Were any errors noted during the upgrade?

2. When logged in as host user, please examine the Admin --> Event Viewer for any related errors occuring when you attempt to install an extension. If so, please post complete error including the stack trace.

3. Are you correctly using the extensions installer at Host --> Extensions rather than Admin --> Extensions?

4. Have you tried installing the latest version of one of the former "core" modules such as Feedback or Media? Same error?

DNN 6.1.3 to 6.1.5, no errors, went smooth.

No Errors in Event Log related to module install

3. Are you correctly using the extensions installer at Host --> Extensions rather than Admin --> Extensions?

I did not know it was preferred to use Host vs. Admin installation.  However, I have tried both now with the same result.

4. Have you tried installing the latest version of one of the former "core" modules such as Feedback or Media? Same error?

I have just tried to install Media and got the same result.

Well, I am not sure what happened, but it seems the DNN 6.1.5 Upgrade package did not upgrade the site correctly.  I resolved the issue by creating a new site with a clean, complete install of 6.1.5, moved my files back into place and copied the database over.  All seems to working as expected now.

Thanks for the help.
