Howdy,

I am trying to put an RSS feed into my DNN (6.1.5) site. I have tried the latest Feed Explorer, News Feeds, and XML modules and am unable to get the feed to display in any of them.

The RSS is public and can be found here:   http://problem.tamu.edu/rss.php?area=...

The HTML version can be found here:  http://problem.tamu.edu/news.php?

It appears the output of the first link is an XML file with RSS (2.0) within it.  My question is basically which module should work with this URL (if any) and what settings in the module would make it work.  Do I need to convert the feed into something else first...?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

Hi Thomas, News Feed module is known to be a bit picky with feeds, which are not adhering to the RSS standard, while Feed Explorer expects OPML feeds. XML/XSL should process any RSS feed w/o issues (depending on the XSL you are using, of course).

Thanks. I gathered that from reading the forums and documentation on the 3 modules. But I am unable to get my feed to show up in any of them. Is my feed badly formatted? I suspect my feed *should* be working in the XML module (correct?). I was hoping that someone could get it working and tell me what module\settings they used.

Thanks.
