Hi All,

Using DNN 5.6.0 I was trying to upgrade some modules installed on my site using the Extensions->Install Available Extensions option. After I selectting the modules to install and pressing the Install Selected Extensions link I get nothing except of the following message:

at System.Security.CodeAccessSecurityEngine.Check(Object demand, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, Boolean isPermSet) at System.Security.CodeAccessPermission.Demand() at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity) at System.IO.DirectoryInfo.Create() at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Util.WriteStream(Stream SourceStream, String DestFileName) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.InstallerInfo.ReadZipStream(Stream inputStream, Boolean isEmbeddedZip) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.InstallerInfo..ctor(Stream inputStream, String sitePath) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installer..ctor(Stream inputStream, String physicalSitePath, Boolean loadManifest, Boolean deleteTemp) at DotNetNuke.Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.InstallPackage(String strFile, String packageType, Boolean writeFeedback) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Extensions.BatchInstall.InstallPackageItems(String packageType, CheckBoxList list, Label errorLabel, String errorKey

Could anyone tell what may be the problem?

 Thanks,

OrenG

Please check your DNN root folder permissions and be sure all permissions set correct and are inherited to all subfolders and files.

You mean that NETWORK SERVICE has full control on those folders?
Thanks,

I checked with my provider, NETWORK SERVICE has a READ & EXECUTE & WRITE on my wwwroot, and it still doesn't work.

Any idea please?
thanks,

Network Service must also have change permissions.  Also be sure all permissions are inherit to all subfolders and files!!!!!!!!!!!

On some special installation where the Database Schema is not dbo, it could be that the IUser must also have execute permissions.
