That's weird that linked text worked yesterday..

Try this one:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/V...

You could also go to Resources --> Video Library and do a quick "Find" in your browser for "Implementing".. this is the only video there with that word in its Title..

Hi,

We are struggling to wrap our heads around this.

1 - As a DNN Admin I can only Edit groups that I created. I cannot Edit OR Delete groups that another user has created (the Edit Groups link does not present). This makes is hard to manage groups!

2 - We have a number of existing roles that we would like to add Social Group functionality to. Is there anyway to add a Social Group to an existing role?

3 - On the Group Activity page, is there a way to show the groups's image library, video library, and Forum (like the old Active Social tabs)? How do we shows these media/features separate from the Journal activity stream?

We have found some other buggy behavior. Any estimate on the 6.2.1 release?

Thanks,
Chris

I too, have come from extensively customizing AS with profile and group tabs for UVG videos, Ventrian articles, etc, and many other really functional template 'add-ins'. I appreciate all the integration effort, but the question I need to ask is your recommendation on moving forward (again) now that upgrading from 5.4 to 6.2 has all that 'cool custom stuff' dropped:

Should we customize feature enhancements ourselves (again) - or
can we fund someone that will focus on this at DNN?

Once the social element is rolled out, I know from experience that the 'group' gets a pretty clear 'voice' on "why isn't this as easy as FB?"

Will, your thoughts?

It's been a while since any of the group membership, private group invite, or any other functionality has been added to Social Groups. What is the current plan/timeline to update the core groups?

Will M - can you update us?
