Hi,

I would like to create a page on my site that allows users to see their existing friends. I applied the Member Directory to a page, added a "relationship" filter to the directory, selected "friends" and clicked update.

When users who do have friends look at this page, they get the following message: "No members were found that satisfy the search conditions."

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

You will see this message if the user viewing the Member module has no friends because invites have either not been accepted or they've been denied

Users will know they've had a friend request accepted as they'll get a message under their "Notifications" tab:
"<username> is now following you

You are now being followed by <username>

Follow Back | Dismiss

This is correct behavior...

Hi Ken,

Thank you for the reply. The users viewing the module in my tests have over 200 friends each. If these users look in the member list, the members who are already friends with them say "remove friend", so I know that the system is picking up the relationship.

Ryan;

Are you seeing any errors anywhere in your site?

Event Log/Event Viewer @ Admin --> Event Viewer

The log.resources file @ \<site name>\Portals\_default\Logs

Are you on a Hosted setup?

Is this a site that has some 3rd party modules on it? If so, which ones?

I cannot reproduce this even in our QA copy of DotNetNuke.com where there are 1000's of active users

I have the same issue. Has there been any resolution to this? I have posted request for assistance but have got nothing. So far I have not been able to use DNN 6.2 social features because of this and would really like to.

Thanks

Mark
