Now it breaks the Messaging and Notifications page. Works OK for Administrators but users get a DNN Error.

Got this one figured out - recreated the site with the same name - had to close the browser to clean the cache to the MachineKey came back with being valid.

 Whew.

its a known bug that if you install a site with the same name (or upgrade it) that you will get this issue until you close the browser and reopen it - we dont see a way around it (as the issue lies within MVC) but it's easily resolved by closing the browser.
