Good afternoon!

Since a school-district-wide DNN update this summer, I have had trouble with existing and new hyperlinks on the site I manage. Some existing hyperlinks now give users an error message of : "The website you are looking for may be experiencing problems, is temporarily unavailable, or there was a typing error in the address.
Error: (DNS), click the back back button to try another link."

This message appears regardless of which computer or connection is used to access the link, and will appear even if the link is deleted, re-created, and reformatted. I also receive the same message when trying to create entirely new links. HELP, please! I have exhausted my "bag of tricks" to fix this problem, and I feel it's negatively affecting my site's traffic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Please open a new post, I don't think it is the same issue.  We Need some more Information about the update from Version to Version. Running the upgrade w/o Errors? L mapping on DNN on the site Settings, and the IIS URL Mapping please.

So can only the "superadmin" user edit hyperlinks? What if I cant find the host login information, will I not be able to edit this kind of info? I can edit basic content and images with just a regular admin user login...

Site admin should able to edit hyperlinks, but how are they created ?  Is there used a module for it, or mean you the Navigation bar?  If you can't find the host section you could not change portal wide Settings.  There are a superadmin user e.g 'host' who have Access to the host Settings section.

Site admins could only change thinks on one site.  Please descript more what you mean with Hyperlinks.  Are they on NN Links module, DNN HTML/Text module or where are they?
