I'm posting this in hopes someone from DNN can shed some light on the future plans for Social Community functionality.  Social engagement is an important part of any community.  DNN corp uses it extensively on its own site.  I'm trying to understand where DNN is taking the social components its built as a result of its acquisition of Active Social.  Currenlty there isn't any social engagement in the core functionality.  I looked at the new Q and A module and it does use enagement.  The last build of Active Forums also has engagement.  The problem is that each module extension has its own system..be it points, badges, etc.  What is the strategy to bring this together into core DNN so that there is a single engagement system??

DNN 6.2 and above support social groups, but afaik there is no common system for points in the core framework. While DNN Corp. is focusing on Social solution for their commercial editions, future versions (code name Nebula) may include these features as well - AFAIK the planned feature set has not been published yet.
