Are there any DNN 7 Razor Module samples?

Is it possible only by Razor Host or can the module itself have razor scripts?

If you add the Razor module to a page, you will find a collection of sample scripts that can be used.. You can find these scripts in the DesktopModules\RazorModules\RazorHost\Scripts directory of your DotNetNuke installation.

You can create your own Razor scripts using the tools that are built into the module, or by adding scripts to the directory.

regarding the difference of skills needed to create a razor script and a "full blown" DNN module, I suggest having a look at DNN module development as well.

I agree.

The Razor module approach is useful, but mostly for little things ...
