Hi All,

I have scoured Google and this site and haven't quite found what I am looking for.

On our site, curbkicked.com, we need to allow the user to upload a new profile image and update their profile to the new image accordingly. I have found references to updating the user profile image using a FileID. But the example assumes an image already uploaded and just updating the FileID reference in their profile.

My problem is, how do we upload an image and have it update the files table...etc and return the new image FileID so we can update the user's profile?

Can someone please provide a short example? I have images uploading using a standard html file input control, but what DNN class should I use to update the Files table and return the new FileID please?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading!

Warm regards,
