When using Globals.NavigateURL() to redirect unauthenticated users to the login or register screen, how can I include a ReturnURL param for a page with a querystring value?

I have a bunch of articles that I get from the DB via an articleId querystring param, then just render the HTML to the browser. Some of the articles require the user be logged in. After they login or register, I'd like to take them back to the article they initially requested

  1. Marketing page. Click article like, url is "Marketing.aspx?articleId=123
  2. This article requires authentication so redirect them to the login screen
  3. They login and are redirected to Marketing.aspx?articleId=123

I've been trying different versions of this, but so far it's not working. When debugging I see that LoginTabId = -1

Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL(PortalSettings.LoginTabId, true, PortalSettings, "Login", string.Format("?ReturnUrl={0}?articleId={1} ", Server.UrlEncode(Request.Url.ToString()), queryStringArticleId)));

Any ideas? Thanks
