Hi,

I have to find the pane for the module using dnn code in current module.

Please anyone guide for the above scenario.

If you need the name of the pane as a string use:

var paneName = ModuleContext.Configuration.PaneName;

If you need a reference to the pane control, I think (not tested) that the following should return it:

var paneControl = DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.FindControlRecursive(this, paneName) as System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlGenericControl;

Note that paneControl will be null if the pane is not found or is not of type HtmlGenericControl.

Hi

Thanks for the above solution.

The above code is returing "contentpane".However i need it the below :-

In my skin i am using the below code for the pane




After that in dnn page , am applying this testtoppane for some test dnn module.

So in this test dnn module -> Edit.ascx.cs -> Here i need to find this test dnn module is applied for "testtoppane"

I have to retrieve "testtoppane".

So Please guide the above.

For the above i have found some answers.

1.

string _moduleid = ModuleId.ToString();
string _tabmod = TabModuleId.ToString();
string _tab = TabId.ToString();


I have passed the above variable to tabmodules table to take the current pane.

this is will get the current pane for the module.

So if anything simple , please let me know..
