Hi,

I have used DNN for quite a while, but I've never had a need to use a "publish date" for a module. I'm wondering if I correctly understand when something happens. My question is mainly about what DNN considers, for example: "end on 03/31/2013." Does that mean stop displaying when 03/31/2013 is reached or the end of 03/31/2013 (midnight) is reached.

I have two HTML / Text modules on a page. If I set the publish dates to the following:
Module 1 - Publish start date of "03/01/2013" and an end date of "03/31/2013"
Module 2 - Publish start date of "04/01/2013" and an end date of "04/30/2013"

At midnight on 03/31/2013 will the following happen:
 Module 1 - will hide
Module 2 - will display (one second past midnight)

Thanks!

Jim

Not for this post...
But kind of progress bar should be implemented here so that user will not face the problem of repeated post.
I have edited this post as my post get duplicated as i clicked the publish button again thinking that hv not clicked the publish button perfectly.

Thanks,

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for the confirmation. I had set the modules to publish as noted, and I figured that it would either work as expected, or not ;-)

Jim

PS. As per your second post -- the "Not sure if my reply has posted" delay here on the DNN forums has caused me to inadvertantly duplicate posts a few times in the past as well...
