our company has a module that we market.  For DNN7 customers we want to send them an updated module.  How would they go about installing it?

You would send them a ZIP file and they would then install the module as they would any other extension via the Host/Extensions page.

Thanks for the prompt response, however I'm not sure how to do this:

I am viewing the Host | Extensions page on our dev DNN site. I see our module listed in the grid. There is a column called "Upgrade?" but it is empty and not clickable. There is an icon called "Edit", it brings up a modal dialog box but I see no means therein of refreshing the module from a downloaded zip file. At bottom there is an "update" button, but it appears to instead be a "save".

Could you please clarify the steps needed to accomplish this, or point me to appropriate newb Wiki article.
Thx, Rick.

(I made a reply earlier this morning - it has not showed up yet? In case it got lost (?) repeated here in brief)

Can you please outline the steps needed to carry out a module upgrade, or point me to appropriate wiki? It is not evident to me how to do this:

on our Dev DNN site, I check Host | Extensions. Our installed module is there. There is an "Upgrade?" column but it is blank and not selectable. There is an Edit icon that brings up a modal box, but no place to select "update this module"; there is an "Update" button but it does nothing (I guess its just a mis-named "Save"?).

Did you use my module development templates to develop the module? http://christoctemplate.codeplex.com
