I need to create a new page programmatically when a user creates a category. That page need to show all products under that category.

While the code to create the page isn't hard, I'm not sure how to show the products under that category.

I already created a generic module that will do this but it has a custom property that needs to be set to the category to know what products to display.

Is there a way to programmatically add the module and then set this property? Or is there a better way to accomplish this? I'm open to suggestions.
