Hello,

there is a bug with telerik editor in 7.2.0 and ie11. Also here in this telerik editor on dnnsoftware.com in forum (where i'm writing this tread) there is the problem and  if you try to swap from design and html button some <br> are added (must exists some br first to have the issue). I find this: https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow... and seem resolved, but in wich version?

thanks

The fix seems to be for 7.2, but to get backward compatibility : to solve the problem with the telrik editor, we need to add a host header in IIS (or default.aspx)

In IIS7 - at top level (or website level) add a host header.

Name = "X-UA-Compatible"
Value = "IE=EmulateIE10"

or add this in default.aspx in the header section.

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE10" />

in some cases the injection of another IE emulate meta tag doens't work.  There is a workaround posted in the DNN ticket system at https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-4413

basically go into the default.aspx and remove line #7 that adds  <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">

Removing that line will allow IE 11 to work properly... alternately you can change that line to

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE10"> and it will force IE 10 emulation.

I tried both solutions and neither had any effect.

I continue to see multiple insertions of not <br /> but rather <br></br>

I recycled app pool after each redaction of default.aspx. The line breaks continue to be created.
