Hello,

 We are using DDRMENU in our application to show menues. In previous DNN version(5.2.1) we were using SOLPARTMENU  which used to highlight the active menu tab but in case of DDRMENU which we are using in upgraded version of DNN (7.1.2) active menu tab is not highlighted.

 We have tried with css properties(Active, Selection, Focus) to highlight active menu tab but DDRMENU is not supporting these css changes.

 Can you please explain the reason that why is it not happening in DDRMENU ? If there is any alternative to use the highlighted tab on menu then please provide us that solution.

Hi Itneer,

This functionality is available in the DDRmenu.

The DDRmenu is a very flexible, templated menu system and is not the same as the old Solpartmenu.

To highlight active tabs you'll need to read up on what options/tokens/etc., are available to you.

First I would suggest you to look at the Gravity skin's menu system, the menu templates and config are in the "Simple" folder.

There is also a WIKI found here with all the options and examples you need.

Hello Geoff,

Thanks for your response.

As suggested by you, we have used 'Gravity skin's for menu bar highlighting issue but it is not working. We have also updated skin and applied “Selected”,” Active” properties but found that "Selected” property is not working with DDRMenu. So, we are not able to highlight tabs which is currently selected by a user.

Please provide us any other relevant information about this.

Thanks for your reply.

As suggested by you, now we are able to highlight tabs which is currently selected by a user by modified ‘simpleToken.txt’ file.

But now we are facing an another issue i.e. when we select child node under parent or if URL modify(by clicking on child node) then again parent tab become un-highlighted. Currently we are using Solar part menu for child menu and DDR menu in Parent menu.

So, Please suggest us what approach should we follow in this case?
