We have a site located here (dnn.southbeachdietdelivery.com) that is a brand new install of 7.3 community edition and we went to add a module and nothing happens when you click "add existing module." For that matter nothing happens on a lot of buttons on the control bar. I have tried the ribbonbar hack but that has also not worked. Any ideas?

So we fixed this by a small mention from someone else here in the forum on another post. The fix is to make sure you are NOT lower casing urls in web.config. We had this rule:

 <rule name="Convert to lower case" stopProcessing="true">
    <match url=".*[A-Z].*" ignoreCase="false" />
    <action type="Redirect" url="{ToLower:{R:0}}" redirectType="Permanent" />
</rule>

With this rule removed the add module functionality works. Apparently some of the modules are case sensitive and have uppercase titles.

"Add existing Module" is used to reference "clone" a module which already exists on any other page. It loads the list of existing pages (besides the current), where you may select the desired page (if any) and module. Otherwise use "add new module" and select proper content type,

Thanks Sebastian,

We figured it out. Some modules use upper case in their url structure and we had the following rule in our web.config:

<rule name="Convert to lower case" stopProcessing="true">
    <match url=".*[A-Z].*" ignoreCase="false" />
    <action type="Redirect" url="{ToLower:{R:0}}" redirectType="Permanent" />
<
/rule>

With this removed, the add modules functionality works fine. Don't know if I would consider it a bug or not, but worth noting.

I am having this issue with 7.3.1. Clean install and all. Seems like when changing the DNNComboBox to Insert Top causes a post back and the position of the selected combobox iitems is lost.

HELP!
