Hi,

I'm a front-end developer, new to DNN since 4 months back. I'm trying to help a customer with his web page and the issue where modules are duplicated. More details below.

DNN version: 06.02.07

Problem: When creating a new page in the Page manager the new page looks as it should, except for the 40 copies of the Text/HTML-module containing the copyright-info. 

Possible solutions already tried: Disabled "Show on all pages" for the module, then created a new page through Page manager. No change. It still prints like 40 copies of the, now not visible on all pages, module on the new page.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem are most welcome!

Isabell,

EITHER the module in question has 40 individual instances with Show on all pages selected for EACH of those - OR - the template you are basing the name page on has those modules embedded in the page template.

AFAIR there were issues with "Show modules on all pages" in DNN 6, especially in multilingual websites.

Thanks for the answers, but I have checked both those options. And none of them is causing the problem unfortunately. Any other ideas?

So, would you recommend that I upgrade from 6.2 to a newer version of DNN 6? Or should I upgrade to DNN 7? Would that solve the problem? Or do you have any other ideas how to solve it?
