I have a custom module that displays content by category.  I have it installed on multiple pages that are available from the navigation menu.  How to I pass a parameter to the module to give it the ID of a category to display?  Is there a way to pass a parameter in the module settings on each page?  Or is there a way to add a querystring parameter to the links in the navigation?

you may pass parameters from custom modules or your own menu component, default menu does not support an option for it.

You may also add a setting to the module settings to determine the category displayed by the module. You the may query this setting in the module itself by

base.Settings["Category"]

Happy DNNing!
