Hi all,

I've got a question. I have created a new site and put "Users and Roles" module on it. After that I have set to be cached in memory for one hour (which is not very useful on this kind of module, but anyway).

So I'm on this page (not in edit mode), users are shown in the module. If I click en edit icon (pencil) at the user, the popup opens, but it doesn't show form for editing users, but another (same) list of users.

If I go to edit page mode it works as it should (click on a pencil opens popup with edit user form). If I disable cache on module and if I am not on edit page mode than it also works at it should.

I have the same kind of problem with a module from 3rd party (Cross Article).

Is this by design? It is very confusing - it looks like something is broken when caching on module is enabled.

Many thanks for clarification ...

there is some security built into the module to be available for Admins only - I am not sure, whether this causes the behavior you are experiencing.

Modules in general need to support caching. There are certain modules that support caching and others that do not. For the most part if a module starts with a cache time of 0 it is hard to get them working with cache.
